Are you a Civil Design Engineer ready to take on a new challenge?
We're recruiting for an expanding infrastructure business looking for a Civil Design Engineer to join its growing Water team. You'll work on a range of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, taking designs from concept through detailed design and into construction and commissioning.
The Role
You'll be responsible for:
* Civil and drainage design
* Engineering drawings and design solutions
* Calculations, specifications, reports and estimates
* Water and wastewater infrastructure design
* Drainage, clean water, separation and waste treatment projects
* Design assurance and quality control
* Technical problem solving
* Coordinating surveys and multidisciplinary design inputs
* Client and stakeholder engagement
* Supporting junior engineers and technical staff
About You
We're looking for a qualified Civil Engineer with:
* Experience with water/wastewater infrastructure projects
* Knowledge of UK water industry and drainage standards
* AutoCAD, Civil 3D and/or Revit experience
* Good understanding of hydraulic design principles
* Experience with concrete slabs, retaining walls and hardstandings
* BIM experience is desirable
* ICE membership or Chartered status is advantageous
Experience of infrastructure projects, with water/wastewater experience advantageous but not essential, as full training can be provided to candidates with strong transferable design experience.
