Description:
We’re working with a prominent independent power generation company that operates four power plants across the UK. We're assisting them in recruiting a new C&I Engineer / Technician for their team at Coryton Power Station in Essex.
In this role, the remit will be to oversee maintenance and enhancements to the control systems and instrumentation equipment at the station. Your responsibilities will include scheduling and planning maintenance, reviewing systems specifications and requirements, along with implementing changes.
For this role we are seeking experience with control systems (DCS, SCADA, PLCs), instrumentation (flow, pressure, temperature, level, etc.), and vibration monitoring equipment. Prior experience in CCGT power plants or with gas/steam turbines will be a significant advantage, but is not essential.
This position is permanent, full time, (the shift pattern is just 37 hours a week, Mon – Fri with additional on-call cover required) and the salary is £51,500 – £57,286 depending on experience. This role also comes with a 10% annual bonus.
