Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children Support Worker to join our team in North London. This role is specifically for a male worker to support the unique needs of our residents. The successful candidate will work in a residential home setting, providing care and support to children with challenging behaviours.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide day-to-day care and support for children with challenging behaviours.
Implement and follow individualised care plans.
Promote a safe and supportive environment.
Assist with daily routines, including meals, activities, and personal care.
Encourage and support children to develop life skills and independence.
Manage and de-escalate challenging situations effectively.
Maintain accurate records and reports.
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience working with children with challenging behaviours.
Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
Relevant qualifications in childcare or social care (desirable).
A genuine passion for working with children and making a positive impact.
Working Hours:
8am to 8pm (12-hour shifts)
Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends as required.
