Description:
Job purpose:
To provide high-quality face-to-face speech and language therapy services to children, ensuring comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and intervention.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Conducting thorough assessments of children’s speech, language, and communication needs.
* Developing and implementing individualised therapy plans based on assessment results.
* Providing direct therapy to children, using evidence-based practices.
* Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support the child’s communication development.
* Monitoring and evaluating the child’s progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed.
* Maintaining accurate and detailed records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
* Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss and plan for the child’s needs.
* Offering training and support to families and educators to facilitate the child’s communication in different environments.
* Staying updated with current research and best practices in the field of speech and language therapy.
Requirements:
* Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
* HCPC registered.
* Proven experience working with children in a therapeutic setting.
* Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies for speech and language disorders.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the child and family.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development.

Notes:
Department: Children Face to Face Therapy
Contract: Full-Time 9 am – 5 pm Face To Face
Shift Pattern: 09:00 – 5:00 pm (can be flexible)
Pay: £40 Per Hour D.O.E + £82 - £86 Per Assessment
