Salary: £26,644 per annum

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time (including days, evenings, and weekends)

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Children's Residential Team Leader to join our team in Garstang. The successful candidate will lead and support a team of Residential Support Workers, ensuring the delivery of outstanding care and support to children and young people in our residential home.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead, motivate, and support a team of Residential Support Workers.

* Ensure high standards of care and support are maintained at all times.

* Develop and implement individualised care plans for children and young people.

* Monitor and manage staff performance, providing supervision and guidance.

* Assist with the recruitment, training, and development of team members.

* Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment for children and staff.

* Work collaboratively with external agencies, families, and other stakeholders.

* Manage challenging behaviours professionally and calmly.

* Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.

* Participate in rota management, ensuring adequate staffing levels at all times.

Requirements:

* QCF Level 3 in Children's Residential Care or equivalent qualification.

* A minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Residential Support Worker setting.

* At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role.

* A full British driving licence for a manual car.

* Strong leadership and team management skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

* Ability to work flexibly, including days, evenings, and weekends.

* Empathy, patience, and a commitment to improving the lives of children and young people.
