Job Title: Residential Support Worker - Children's Homes - Temp to perm
Location: Wirral
Salary: £ (phone number removed) - £25,775.00 (£12 - £12.70 per hour) plus an additional £3k - £6k pa for sleep-ins. (4 - 8 sleep ins per month at £62.64 per each) Leader Group are currently hiring Residential Support Workers to join a compassionate team in the Wirral area.

Ranging from 3-5-bedroom homes that support Children & Young people that have Social, Emotional & Mental Health needs.

Role Description:

As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing care, guidance, and support to the residents. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will create a warm and supportive environment where residents can thrive and lead fulfilling lives. Your compassion and commitment will make a significant impact on the well-being and development of those in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct care and support to residents in their daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Develop positive and trusting relationships with residents, promoting independence and self-esteem.
Implement individual care plans and support strategies tailored to each resident's specific needs.
Encourage and facilitate resident's participation in recreational, social, and educational activities.
Observe and record residents progress, reporting any concerns or changes in behaviour to the appropriate team members.
Collaborate with colleagues and external professionals to ensure comprehensive and person-cantered care.
Promote a nurturing and inclusive environment that respects the dignity and rights of residents.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and records related to resident care and progress.
Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including safeguarding and health and safety guidelines. Requirements:

Previous experience in children support work, preferably within a residential setting.

A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with residents and work effectively within a team.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
