Salary
* £14.50 - £15.00 per hour
* £60 per sleep-in
Hours
* 40 hours per week
* 240 hours annual leave
Shift Pattern
* 07:30 - 14:30
* 14:00 - 22:00
* 07:30 - 22:00 (Long Day)
* Average of 1 weekend off in every 3
About the Role
We are looking for caring, resilient and passionate Residential Support Workers to join our EBD Solo Children's Home, supporting children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs.
Working within a therapeutic and child-centred environment, you'll help provide stability, consistency and positive outcomes for young people, supporting them to develop confidence, independence and essential life skills.
Key Responsibilities
* Build positive, trusting relationships with young people.
* Provide high-quality day-to-day care and emotional support.
* Support education, appointments, hobbies and community activities.
* Promote positive behaviour using therapeutic approaches.
* Complete accurate daily records and reports.
* Administer medication where required.
* Safeguard children and work in line with Children's Home Regulations and Quality Standards.
* Work collaboratively with families, social workers and other professionals.
Requirements
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare preferred, or willingness to work towards it.
* Previous experience supporting children or vulnerable young people is desirable.
* A genuine passion for improving the lives of children.
* Full UK Driving Licence is desirable
