Shift Patterns: Required to work a varied shift pattern, including sleep ins & weekends on a rota

Salary and Benefits

Overview of the Role
I am currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children`s Residential Support Worker to join the team in providing high-quality care for children in our residential home. As a Children`s Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting children who have experienced trauma and challenging life situations. You will provide therapeutic care and support for children aged between 5-18 years old.

Key Responsibilities

Providing emotional and practical support to children in the home
Always ensuring the safety and well-being of the children
Promoting positive behaviour and routines for children in the home
Supporting children in their education and development
Communicating effectively with colleagues, parents, and external professionals
Maintaining accurate records of the care provided to the children
Required Skills, Experience, & Knowledge

Experience working with children in a residential or similar setting
Relevant qualification in Children`s Services (or willing to undertake Level 3)
Flexibility to work a varied shift pattern, including sleep ins and weekends on a rota basis
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle - ESSENTIAL
A compassionate and caring approach to working with children
Knowledge and understanding of child development and safeguarding procedures
