Monday to Friday : £15.00ph / £16.81*
Wakeful Nights : £19.50ph / £21.85*
Saturday & Sunday : £19.50ph / £21.81*
Sleep Ins : £60
Bank Holiday: £22.50ph- £29.25ph
*We offer holiday pay that is accrued based on the number of hours worked. If you do decide you do not want to accept holiday pay, we can add 12.1% to each of the hourly rates above!
For example: £15.00 per hour + 12.1% =£16.81 per hour or £19.50 per hour + 12.1% =£21.85 per hour
Here at RSD Social Care we are a family run agency providing support to a number of residential homes and services within the Swansea area. We believe in providing the highest standard of care to young people and children.
We are currently recruiting Children’s Community & Residential Support Workers, Working with us you will be supporting children and young people to meet their physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and cultural needs. Within your role, you will help children within their home through aiding the services with routines and boundaries through the individuals personal plan to provide them with positive experiences and memories.
What are we looking for in you?
· A minimum of 6 months paid work with children and young people
· Registered with Social Care Wales
· Excellent communication
· Flexible work ability
· Organisational and interpersonal skills
· Compassion and Empathy
An induction will be provided during your first shift at any home or project and Training.
With this exciting opportunity we currently have contracts with children's residential homes and projects around the Swansea area. You will be able you to pick up shifts/blocks of shifts in a variety of homes. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for working with younger individuals. Some of the children you may be supporting may have physical or learning disabilities, mental health issues, autism, ADHD or a number of medical ailments.
