Are you an experienced registered manager who is seeking a new exciting opportunity?

Our client is a provider of residential childcare services dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for children and young people aged 10 - 17 yrs. They are committed to ensuring that every child in their care receives the support and guidance they need to thrive. As part of their growing team, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Registered Manager to lead a new medium sized EBD Children's home in Birmingham

Overview:

The organisation is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to take on the role of Children's Registered Manager. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in residential childcare and at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a children's setting. This is a challenging yet rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the residential home
Ensure that the ethos of the home is embedded in the service
Ensure the welfare and safety of children in our care.
Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
Lead and manage a dedicated team of childcare professionals.
Collaborate with external agencies and relevant commissioners and local authorities
Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and policies.
Maintaining effective monitoring systems to ensure that the home is ready for Ofsted inspections Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience in residential childcare.
At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a children's setting.
NVQ level 3 in Children and Young People's Force is essential
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England) or working towards.
Recent experience working either as a Registered Manager or as a Children's Home Deputy Manager.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of current legislation and regulations in residential childcare.
Ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and external partners.
A full UK driving licence which you have held for a least 12 monthsBenefits:
