These homes place a strong emphasis on building positive relationships, promoting independence and helping every child reach their full potential.
We are looking for dedicated Children's Home Support Workers to join on either a long-term or permanent basis. The successful Children's Home Support Worker will support children of various ages with a range of additional needs including Learning Difficulties, SEMH, Autism and ADHD, helping to provide high-quality care, emotional support and positive daily routines while promoting well-being and development.
The successful Children's Home Support Worker will have:
Level 3 Children and Young People's Workforce qualification or willingness to work towards it
Experience working within children's residential care or supporting children and young people with additional needs
Experience supporting children with Learning Difficulties, SEMH, Autism and ADHD
A caring, patient and resilient approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Flexibility to work a range of shifts where required
