Purosearch seeks a dynamic and dedicated Children's Home Manager to oversee a small service catering to children and young people with complex needs and challenging behaviours, within a well-established organization. Responsibilities for the Children's Home Manager Role include:
•Establishing and nurturing a new children's service
•Fostering team development and cohesion
•Setting and evaluating targets and objectives for the staff team
•Advocating collaborative partnerships with young people and their families
•Upholding the highest standards of care, safety, and well-being for the children
Ideal candidates for the Children's Home Manager position should:
•Possess a minimum of two years' experience supervising staff
•Demonstrate at least two years' relevant experience in residential childcare, ideally in a Deputy Manager capacity
•Hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) and a Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare
•Hold a valid driving license
•Exhibit a commitment to providing consistent care and support to young people
•Have experience working with children exhibiting challenging behaviours
•Be flexible regarding scheduling, able to cover shifts when necessary
