Description:
Childrens Home Manager Required up to £400 Per Day Rate - 6 Month Contract with view to be extended well beyond this.
Monday - Friday - 9am - 5pm - 37.5 hours a week.
The Home offers residential short break services across the whole of the Bradford district.
These include overnight stays, with holiday day care for children aged 5-18 years.
The main aim of the homes is to help children with disabilities to remain in their own home and community by providing social care support to the children and families.
To act as the Registered Manager for a children's home in Bradford
The homes place up to four children who have EBD.
The candidate would need to have NVQ Level 5
You will support the Children’s Residential Service to achieve the best outcomes for children and young people and ensure they have the opportunity to thrive. You will ensure legislative and regulatory requirements regarding all issues (Human Resources, Health and Safety, Environmental Health etc) but especially regarding the care of children are met. Particularly you will ensure that the Home meets all regulatory requirements to achieve Ofsted gradings of Good or Outstanding.
REQUIRED
* Experienced Home Manager Ofsted.
* A committed and enthusiastic leader with a passion to make a difference
* Level 5 Diploma qualification in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (England)
* A full UK driving licence which you’ve held for at least 12 months
