Interim Registered Home Manager – Learning Disabilities

3 Month Contract Extendable| Immediate Start
£400–£500 per day
Inside IR35 (via umbrella)
Hybrid Working – South West (4 days on-site, 1 day remote)

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established two-bed Children's Learning Disabilities home with a strong, experienced staff team and a positive culture.

You'll provide stable leadership, maintain high standards of care and compliance, and support an experienced Deputy Manager to ensure exceptional outcomes for children with disabilities.

As Interim Registered Home Manager – Learning Disabilities, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing the day-to-day operation of the home, embedding high-quality, child-centred practice and ensuring the service continues to meet all regulatory requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Home Manager to make an immediate impact within a stable and well-run service.

Your Role as Interim Registered Home Manager – Learning Disabilities:

Lead the day-to-day management of a two-bed Children's Learning Disabilities home
• Maintain compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
• Oversee safeguarding arrangements, working closely with the external Designated Safeguarding Officer
• Support, coach and develop an experienced Deputy Manager and established staff team
• Lead quality assurance activity, care planning and the delivery of consistent, child-centred practice
• Manage operational challenges while ensuring high-quality care and positive outcomes for children
• Provide visible leadership across the service within a Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm roleYour Previous Experience as Interim Registered Home Manager – Learning Disabilities:

Previous experience as a Registered Home Manager within Children's Residential Services
• Experience working within Children with Disabilities services is highly desirable
• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of Children's Homes Regulations and Quality Standards
• Proven ability to lead, develop and support high-performing teams
• Experience delivering safe, child-focused services with a strong emphasis on positive behaviour support and minimal restraint
