About us:

Moonreach is a family-owned provider of residential care for looked after children aged between 7 and 18 years in Deal, Kent. Every child and young person has the right to be cared for. At Moonreach, we deliver residential child care services that teach, develop, and look after young people.

We are now excited to be looking for a Manager to become registered for two 2-bedroom children's homes.

Responsibilities:

As a dually registered House Manager, you will ensure that a high-quality service is provided, utilising your business and management skills to manage the work and the team efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will take sole responsibility for the day-to-day care home management, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and best practice.

You will have or be willing to work towards a recognised level 5 professional qualification relevant to working with children, possibly a qualification in management and, at least three years’ experience relevant to children's residential care within the last five years.

At least one year’s experience supervising and managing professional staff is crucial.

Experience:

Residential Childcare: 3 years (required)
Supervising in a Care Role: 1 year (required)

This role is full-time and will include participation in an on call out of hours service.
