Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Children's Home Manager to lead and manage a children's home in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people, ensuring they receive the highest standards of care and support.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Leading, motivating, and managing a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care.
* Ensuring that all staff are appropriately trained, supported, and supervised.
* Fostering a positive and supportive environment for both staff and children.
* Ensuring that each child’s needs are met through personalised care plans.
* Promoting the emotional, physical, and social development of the children.
* Advocating for the children’s best interests and well-being.
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
* Maintaining up-to-date records and reports as required by regulatory bodies.
* Overseeing the maintenance and safety of the home.
* Building and maintaining positive relationships with parents, carers, social workers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification in social work, childcare, or a related field.
* Proven experience in managing a children’s home or a similar setting.
* Strong knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures.
* Excellent leadership and people management skills.
* Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.
