Children’s Residential Support Worker (Bristol)
Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of children and young people? We are recruiting for experienced Children’s Residential Support Workers in Bristol to support vulnerable young residents in a specialist residential care setting. This Children’s Residential Support Worker in Bristol role offers flexible hours and a supportive environment where meaningful progress is real.
What you’ll do
* Support children and young people with daily activities, interests, and routines
* Promote independence, wellbeing, and positive outcomes for residents
* Provide emotional and practical support, building trusting relationships
* Follow care plans and safety guidelines to safeguard children at all times
* Support behaviour management and minimise incidents of challenging behaviour
* Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips, including activities such as climbing and baking
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of care plans, risk information, and safety procedures
What we’re looking for
* A genuine desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people
* Empathetic, caring, and resilient approach, with a strong commitment to safeguarding
* At least 6 months’ experience working with children or in a similar social care setting
* A valid UK Driving Licence
* Current Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one
* Right to work in the UK
