Description:

Child Sexual Exploitation (CSE) Practitioner

Location: Norfolk
Salary: £27,500–£28,500 per annum (FTE)
Hours: 37.5 per week

Make a difference in the lives of children and young people.

Are you passionate about safeguarding and supporting young people affected by trauma? We are seeking a compassionate, resilient and motivated CSE Practitioner to join a specialist service supporting children and young people across Norfolk.

The Role

You will provide one-to-one support to children and young people who have experienced, or are at risk of, child sexual exploitation. You will also help develop and deliver educational workshops promoting awareness, prevention and healthy relationships.

Responsibilities include:

*

Managing a caseload and providing regular one-to-one support.

*

Building trusting relationships using a trauma-informed, non-judgemental approach.

*

Supporting young people to understand exploitation, abuse, consent and healthy relationships.

*

Designing and delivering workshops on online safety, consent and exploitation.

*

Maintaining accurate case records, assessments and support plans.

*

Identifying safeguarding concerns and working with partner agencies.

*

Attending meetings and contributing to service development.

About You

You will ideally have experience working with children and young people in a safeguarding or support setting. You should have good communication skills, an understanding of safeguarding, strong organisational abilities and the confidence to build positive relationships with vulnerable young people.

You will be emotionally resilient, able to manage a caseload independently and comfortable delivering group sessions.

A relevant qualification or experience in youth work, counselling, psychology or a related field is desirable. A willingness to undertake mandatory training and ongoing professional development is essential.

Salary and Benefits

The salary is £27,500–£28,500 per annum (FTE), with 37.5 hours per week.

Benefits include 27 days' annual leave plus bank holidays (FTE), hybrid working, pension contributions, death-in-service benefit, an employee assistance programme, an eye-care scheme, a cycle-to-work scheme and professional development opportunities.

Additional Requirements

The role involves travel across Norfolk, with occasional early mornings or evenings. Applicants must hold a full, clean UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle, with business insurance and breakdown cover.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.

Due to the nature of the role, there is a genuine occupational requirement for the postholder to be female under Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010.

Right to Work

Please note that visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK without requiring sponsorship.

How to Apply

If you are passionate about safeguarding and helping young people build safer, healthier futures, we would love to hear from you. Apply today to be considered for this opportunity and one of the P&S team will be in touch
