Child Protection Social Worker

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Child Protection Social Worker to join a Local Authority’s Child Protection Service in the Knowsley area. They are looking for someone to work 36 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 – this is on a block-booking basis. Condensed hours are considered for the right candidate. This is on a hybrid basis, with minimum 2 days required in the office per week.

Key Duties:

* Handling an average caseload of 16 children

* Completing C&F assessments, section 7&37, CIN and CP plans along with PLO

* Prepare/formulate care plans for children which take account of their views and wishes

* Maintain case records to a high standard and produce reports in accordance with service policy and procedure

* To ensure that the diverse needs of children, young people and their families are identified, met and regularly reviewed, and amended where required

Requirements:

* Social Work England registration

* Minimum of 2 years experience working in Child Protection
