About this Role
The Chief Financial Officer is a new and exciting role for the Trust, which will lead a high-performing finance function, based at Nonsuch High School for Girls, responsible for all finance processing, administration and management for all our schools. It will serve as the ESFA appointed CFO for the Trust, accountable to the Chief Executive Officer and Trust Board for the effective financial management of the organisation. It will join the Executive Leadership Team which is responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the organisation.
Key responsibilities for the role include:
* Financial strategy, accountability and stakeholder management
* Service delivery, reporting and financial management
* Statutory compliance and risk management
* Income generation and commercial growth
* Development of all finance, procurement and risk related policies and procedures across the Trust.
The successful candidate will:
* Have experience in education or an education-related field.
* Have a proven track record working at both a strategic and operational level.
* Have a pragmatic and entrepreneurial outlook to help the Trust continue to thrive in an increasingly challenging financial context.
* Hold excellent written communication skills and the ability to influence across an organisation.
