Our client is a growing London-based fintech business specialising in digital asset management, backed by private equity. With three years of successful trading in the UK, they are now seeking an exceptional Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to drive our business to the next stage of expansion into new markets.
**Role Overview:**
As the CEO, you will play a pivotal role in taking the business to new heights. You will be responsible for autonomously running a scaling up business, leading the next round of investment funding, and spearheading their entry into new markets. Your strategic vision, leadership skills, and industry expertise will be instrumental in driving our success.
**Responsibilities:**
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy to expand the business into new markets.
- Drive operational excellence, ensuring the efficient and effective management of all business functions.
- Lead the next round of investment funding, working closely with stakeholders and investors to secure the necessary capital for growth.
- As Chief Executive Officer, foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high-performance within the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, including the FCA and Bank of England, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and nurture strategic partnerships with third parties to enhance our market position and drive revenue growth.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience as a Chief Executive Officer / CEO or in a similar leadership role, successfully scaling up a business.
- Strong track record in securing investment funding and driving business growth.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of the finance or fintech industry, ideally with a focus on digital asset management.
- Previous experience dealing with regulators and sophisticated stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent leadership abilities as a Chief Executive Officer, with the capability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
**Qualifications:**
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or economics. A master's degree or MBA is highly desirable.
