Our client a leading IT Solutions Provider is seeking to recruit a Chief Digital Transformation Officer (CDTO), Chief Digital Officer (CDO), Digital Transformation Director, Programme Digital Director ideally with a Public and Private Sector background.
£800-£1100/day Inside IR35

We are seeking a Chief Digital Transformation Officer to lead our Digital transformation and CIO Advisory team. You will provide independent, senior-level expertise to enable executives to drive value from Technology and improve business performance. This role includes leading large scale infrastructure transformation programs, implementing cloud solutions, and providing insightful business development activities. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in consulting firms, strong technical knowledge, and excellent communication skills. The CDTO will establish the technological vision for our client and lead the company's technical delivery and support functions. The scope of the CDO includes identifying and supporting business transformation needs and where necessary establishing technology partnerships to deliver at the pace the business requires. The role will provide a voice for technology, understanding the strategic objectives and business priorities of our business and client environments, translating business problems into technical solutions.
You'll be responsible for guiding the direction and management of our Digital and IT services. You'll be a key advisor, emphasising a user-focused approach especially focusing on accessibility. You'll report directly to the Vice-President (Operations) and work closely with the leadership team to ensure the successful implementation of our IT initiatives and Digital Strategic Plan.
Your leadership will be crucial in encouraging innovation and delivering excellent service. You'll lead the development of forward-thinking strategies and implement advanced technologies to improve the digital infrastructure.
You will be an experienced specialist able to navigate the complexities of strategic technology transformation. You will lead the way in improving how we use technology. Your leadership will direct our organisation towards excellence, utilising your experience to enhance customer journeys and strengthen digital infrastructure. With a sharp eye for risk and innovation, you'll pioneer change initiatives, ensuring resilience and progress. Your leadership skills will stand out as you guide a team of specialists, fostering collaboration and ensuring our digital and IT services seamlessly support business priorities.

Drive Organisational Change: Promote agile and flexible digital delivery methods, encouraging best practices and innovation.
Communicate progress and align digital initiatives with the university's strategic objectives, managing complex budgets and resource planning.
Develop Contract Management Capability: Implement best practices for managing digital contracts, ensuring they add value and resolving high-risk issues.
