Inorganic Analyst
Location: Leeds
Length: 12 months
Rate: £11.83 p/h
Hours: Mon - Fri 37 a week
Full training will be given.
The lab analyses of Environmental samples accredited to ISO/IEC17025. The team analyses environmental samples for inorganic analysis by a range of different techniques and instrumentation. The lab has a high sample throughput.
The role will be based in the Leeds Lab
You will demonstrate the key capabilities of communication, customer focus, decision making, delivery of work, planning, problem solving and teamwork.
Common techniques used:
ICP-MS
AAS
Ion Chromatography
Continuous Flow
Colour Chemistry
Wet Chemistry Techniques
You will be involved in sample preparation, and the analysis of samples, together with some hands on analysis. You will be involved in reporting results.
Person:
Degree in Chemistry related subject
Available to start as soon as possible
Chemistry "A" Level is a minimum requirement
Ideally already local to Leeds
