Community Chemotherapy Nurse
South West London | Up to £58,000 DOE + Company Car or £4,887 Car Allowance | Monday-Friday | No Nights

Looking for more time with your patients and less time rushing between them? If you're an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse, Oncology Nurse or SACT Nurse, this is your opportunity to step away from the pressures of the hospital environment without stepping away from oncology.

Imagine delivering life-changing cancer treatment in patients' own homes, where you have the time to provide truly personalised care, build genuine relationships and make a lasting difference every single day.

I'm recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading specialist healthcare providers, delivering high-quality cancer care across South West London.

If you've been searching for a role that offers greater autonomy, a healthier work-life balance and the chance to deliver the standard of care you trained to provide, this could be exactly what you're looking for.

What's on Offer?

Salary up to £58,000 DOE
Company car or £4,887 car allowance
Monday-Friday working pattern
No night shifts
Paid NMC registration
Private medical insurance
Company pension
Life assurance
Structured induction programme
Ongoing clinical training and development
Excellent clinical governance and support
Work independently while remaining fully supported by an experienced multidisciplinary teamThe Role

You'll manage your own caseload across South West London, delivering specialist oncology and haematology treatments directly within patients' homes.

Rather than feeling under constant pressure, you'll have the time to build trust, answer questions and support patients throughout one of the most challenging periods of their lives.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) and chemotherapy safely within patients' homes
Completing comprehensive clinical assessments before every treatment
Administering cytotoxic therapies in line with national guidelines
Cannulation, venepuncture and vascular access management
Monitoring patients throughout treatment and responding appropriately to adverse reactions
Providing education, reassurance and ongoing clinical support to patients and their families
Maintaining accurate electronic patient records
Working closely with consultants, hospitals and multidisciplinary teams to ensure outstanding continuity of careAbout You

You'll be passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and confident working autonomously in the community.

You'll also have:

Active NMC registration (Adult Nurse/RGN)
Previous experience delivering Chemotherapy or SACT
Competency in the administration of cytotoxic drugs
Excellent cannulation and venous access skills
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Full UK driving licenceWhy Community Chemotherapy?

Many nurses tell us this is the move that reignited their passion for oncology nursing.

Instead of rushing between patients, you'll have the opportunity to slow down, provide truly personalised care and become a familiar face throughout each patient's treatment journey.

You'll enjoy greater independence, more meaningful patient interactions and the satisfaction of seeing the difference your care makes every single day.

For many nurses, it's the perfect balance of specialist oncology nursing, autonomy and work-life balance.

If you're an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse, Oncology Nurse, Cancer Nurse, SACT Nurse or Haematology Nurse, I'd love to tell you more.
