Smile Education are delighted to be supporting a successful and forward-thinking secondary school within a highly regarded Multi-Academy Trust in their search for a dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join their thriving Science department from September 2026.

The position is to cover a maternity leave and offers the chance to work within a supportive and collaborative teaching environment.

The RoleThe successful candidate will:

Teach Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Deliver engaging, practical and challenging lessons that inspire students to develop a passion for Science.
Differentiate learning to support students of all abilities.
Assess, monitor and track student progress effectively.
Contribute positively to departmental planning and curriculum development.
Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and behaviour.The Ideal CandidateWe are looking for:

A qualified Science Teacher with the ability to teach Chemistry.
QTS/QTLS or equivalent teaching qualification.
ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for Chemistry.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
