Are you a passionate Chemistry Teacher looking for a new opportunity from November?
Smile Education are currently recruiting on behalf of a high-performing secondary school in Smethwick for a Chemistry Teacher to join their Science department on a long-term maternity cover basis, starting around mid November.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed teacher to join a supportive Science department within a well-established secondary school. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Chemistry lessons, supporting positive behaviour and helping students make strong academic progress.
The Role
Teaching Chemistry across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
Assessing and monitoring student progress
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Working collaboratively with the wider Science department
Supporting students to achieve their full academic potential
Taking an active role within the wider school communityThe Ideal CandidateWe would love to hear from qualified Chemistry Teachers who:
Have strong subject knowledge in Chemistry
Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
Have experience teaching within a secondary school
Are passionate about Science and committed to student progress
Have strong classroom management skills
Can build positive relationships with students and colleagues
Are available to start around mid NovemberECTs and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
