About this particular role;
Connex Education are working with a Secondary Grammar School who are based in Bacup, Lancashire. They're an institute for 11 - 18-year-olds who have secured their places in the school by entrance examination.
They're looking to appoint a temporary Chemistry Teacher who can assist with GCSE Chemistry at AQA for the summer term only. The role will be 3 days per week starting this April 2024 until July 2024.
The successful candidate will:
Be a qualified Teacher with QTS and experience delivering Chemistry across KS3 and KS4
Be someone with drive and ambition who will challenge, inspire, and motivate our students.
You will be a highly dynamic individual who consistently delivers innovative teaching and, where possible, has a proven track record of outstanding progress in external examinations.
Be enthusiastic and motivated with a passion for your subject and an ability to inspire students.
Be committed to delivering high standards of teaching and learning.
Be open to new ideas, committed to working as part of a team, flexible and of course have a good sense of humour.
Have strong moral and ethical principles and values.
Be able to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging situations.
