About the School:
Supply Desk are working with a ‘Good’ secondary school in Crawley that is dedicated to empowering all students to achieve and excel. This is reflected in the school’s above average GCSE attainment. They are looking to appoint a committed and ambitious Teacher of Chemistry to deliver enthusiastic and engaging lessons for both Key Stage 3 and 4. This role is long-term and full-time, with a view for the right candidate to turn permanent.
About the role:
The role is a full-time opportunity, providing Key Stage 3 and 4 lessons in Chemistry, contributing to the school’s excellent GCSE attainment. Your lessons will deliver on the National Curriculum and the school’s charter and ethos of inclusivity and aspiration. Dedicated time for planning and marking is also provided. The school are looking for someone with excellent and up-to-date subject knowledge, good classroom management and a positive approach to teaching and building relationships.
The ideal candidate will:
Hold QTS
Have recent experience teaching in UK Schools
Be a committed team player
Proven track record of high attainment in results
Be confident and engaging when delivering lesson content
Have strong classroom management and rapport-building skills
Enthusiastic in contributing to the wider school community in and out of the classroom
