Do you come from a chemistry background with professional experience within production? We are currently offering the opportunity for a new laboratory manager to join a contract analytical laboratory in Derbyshire. Our client is seeking a hard-working and engaging individual to join their team.
This is an opportunity for an individual who has prior line management experience within a fast-paced working environment.
The Role
As a Chemistry Production Manager within the environmental team, you will be responsible for:
* General running and supervision of the production environment,
* Improving process quality & time efficiency,
* Management and training of staff members,
* Liasing with key stakeholders,
* Dealing with any staff concerns or queries.
Skills and Experience Needed
The ideal candidate will have the following:
* BSc / MSc / equivalent work experience in Chemistry or similar (essential)
* Prior line management experience within a production environment (essential)
* Existing UK work eligibility (essential)
* Prior experience working within a UKAS / ISO 17025 accredited environment (desired)
