Entry level/Graduate Chemist Roles
Salary - £23,000-£27,000
UK Wide (Currently roles open in Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Lancashire, Herefordshire and Essex)

SRG is working with a wide range of companies within the chemicals industry who are now looking for chemistry graduates with a laboratory skillset. These companies include industrial chemicals manufacturers, contract research and environmental laboratories in industries such as polymers, materials, speciality chemicals and recycling. If you are graduating this year or have graduated in recent years with a Chemistry (or similar) degree and have good, practical laboratory skills, your profile may well be of interest to the companies we recruit for.

Graduate positions may involve any of the below responsibilities:
Analytical testing using wet chemistry and/or chromatography techniques (HPLC, LC-MS, GC)
Physical property testing (hardness, tensile strength, plasticity, colour matching, viscometry, rheology)
Synthetic skills (multistep synthesis, characterization, working under inert conditions and project management)
Product development (formulation, raw material evaluation and application testing)
Adherence to health and safety requirements, laboratory housekeeping and risk assessmentsRequirements
Degree in Chemistry, Materials Science or similar
Good practical laboratory skills
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
Right to work full time in the UK
