This is an exciting Organisation to be part of, you would be joining a unique Queens Award Winning manufacturing organisation. We are very much at the forefront of brand -new technology.

Commutable from: Manchester, Blackburn, Standish, Ramsbottom, Skelmersdale, St Helen’s, Warrington, Bolton, Ormskirk, Chorley.

Benefits:

* £12.50 per hour

* Hours: Monday – Friday 8am – 4.30pm

* Salary: 8.5 hrs per day x 5 = 42.5 days per week (40 hour contract)

* 8hrs x 5 days = 40 hours - £12.50 per hour x 40 x 52 = £26,000 The 2.5 hours additional will be at the overtime rate. £18.75 x 2.5 p/w = £46.88 x 52 = £243

Chemist Responsibilities:

* Day to day batch manufacture

* Conduct experimental work

* Preparation of lab samples

* Test raw materials

* Test and evaluate competitors products

* Calibration of equipment

* Prepare samples for dispatch

* Happy to work days

Chemist Requirements:

* BTEC / HNC Chemistry or equivalent

* To have the ability to follow chemistry testing techniques

* Ideally, you will have worked in a busy lab previously

* Good knowledge of sampling and product testing

* Strond understanding of chemical processes
