Chemist

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Chemist at a leading polymer manufacturing company based in West Yorkshire. As a Chemist you will be responsible for managing development projects from concept through to production into the market. This will include conducting scale up formulations and supervising production batches.

To be considered for this Chemist position you will have previous industrial experience within a chemical manufacturer. You will also be degree educated in Chemistry or a related field.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan experiments and project work.
Scale up formulations.
Assist development of new products.
Test new raw materials in existing formulations.
Quality Control of production batches.
Produce weekly reports on projects and material testing.

Experience/ Qualifications:

Degree educated in Chemistry or a related field- Polymer focus is preferred.
Previous industrial experience within a similar role in a Chemical manufacturer.
Knowledge of regulations and technical writing is highly desirable.
