Are you a passionate and reliable Chef looking for flexible work across Essex? We are currently recruiting experienced Agency Chefs to support a variety of clients, including schools, care homes, and nurseries throughout the Essex area.
Whether you're looking for full-time hours, part-time shifts, or occasional work to fit around your lifestyle, we have opportunities available to suit you.
The Role
As an Agency Chef, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals
Following menus and dietary requirements
Maintaining high food hygiene and health & safety standards
Managing kitchen operations and stock where required
Working independently or as part of an established catering team
Providing excellent food service within educational and care settings
What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Chef, Cook, Sous Chef, or Head Chef
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (minimum)
Knowledge of allergen awareness and special dietary requirements
Reliable, professional, and adaptable approach
Own transport is advantageous due to various locations across Essex
