Dining establishment known for its exquisite cuisine, elegant ambiance, and impeccable service. We pride ourselves on delivering an extraordinary dining experience to our esteemed guests. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef de Rang to join our talented team.
As a Chef de Rang, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of the dining room, delivering exceptional service to our guests. You will work closely with the Head Waiter/Waitress and the rest of the service team to provide a memorable dining experience. Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering high-quality service to guests, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
Presenting and explaining menus, answering questions, and making recommendations based on guests’ preferences.
* Ensuring the proper sequence of service, from taking orders to delivering food and beverages.
* Preparing and setting up tables according to the restaurant’s standards
* Ensuring tables are cleaned and reset promptly for the next service
* Managing table reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
* Assisting and supporting the Head Waiter/Waitress in the training and development of junior staff
* Coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
* Communicating effectively with team members to ensure smooth service operations
* Building rapport with guests, ensuring their dining experience is exceptional
* Handling guest complaints and feedback professionally and effectively
* Maintaining a high level of personal presentation and grooming standards
* Assisting in the preparation and execution of special events and private dining experiences
* Adhering to health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a safe working environment
* Performing any other duties as required by the management team
* Proven experience as a Chef de Rang or similar role in a high-class restaurant
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of fine dining etiquette and service standards
* A passion for food, wine, and hospitality
* Professional appearance and demeanour.
Competitive salary of £25,000 per annum.
Additional tips ranging from £5,000 to £6,000 annually.
