Chef de Partie - Fort George Barracks - £17.93 per hour | 40 hours | Mostly Monday-Friday

You'll be joining an established military kitchen, preparing buffet-style catering for up to 90 covers as part of a supportive and well-organised brigade. With 40 hours per week, mostly Monday to Friday, and just one weekend per month, you'll have a predictable rota and plenty of time away from work.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Chef de Partie, you'll take responsibility for your section and help ensure smooth, consistent service.
Running your designated kitchen section
Preparing and presenting dishes to a high standard
Organising mise en place ready for service
Maintaining excellent food safety and hygiene standards
Monitoring stock, portions and food waste
Working closely with the wider brigade to deliver consistent service
What we're looking for:
We're looking for an experienced Chef de Partie who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a well-organised kitchen.
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role
Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene
Strong organisation and time management skills
Confidence working during busy service periods
Good attention to detail and presentation
Reliable, professional and team-focused approach
Strong communication and kitchen discipline
