Chef De Partie, Enfield
£27,000 - £29,000, possibility of £30,000 DOE
* Ability to run kitchen sections services in absence of kitchen management, as and when required.
* Prepare, cook, and serve all items on the menu to a high standard.
* Preparing food as per seasonal demand
* Assist in the prep & cooking of all other food required.
* Following the recipes and presentation specifications whilst preparing food and keeping up to date with any change
* Mise en place for the following day.
Person Specification
* Must have good culinary skills and experience of working as a Chef De Partie in previous role, preferably in a quality restaurant/culinary environment. (would consider an experienced Demi Chef with appropriate skills)
* Must be well organised, reliable, punctual, and precise with a keen eye for detail & creative.
* Possess food safety training, relevant culinary qualifications, and high standards of cleanliness.
* Ability to deal with deliveries and stock carrying/rotation.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills and being a good team player is essential.
* Must have an under of food costs and manage food costs to budgeted levels.
* Efficiently manage relationships with food, drink, and equipment suppliers.
* Able to work under pressure and use own initiative.
Working 45 hours over 5 days per week including weekends and bank holidays
