Chef de Partie
Location: Cambridge
Salary: £33,938 per annum
We are recruiting for a talented and motivated Chef de Partie to join a professional kitchen team in Cambridge. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef who takes pride in producing high-quality food, enjoys working across all sections of the kitchen and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety, presentation and customer service.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes while maintaining consistency and portion control.
*
Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of your assigned kitchen section, including stock ordering and stock control.
*
Maintain excellent food hygiene, HACCP and health and safety standards at all times, ensuring compliance with allergen legislation.
*
Support the development of menus and contribute ideas to improve products and services.
*
Supervise, support and train junior chefs while promoting a positive and collaborative working environment.
The Ideal Candidate
*
Holds a minimum NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery, with Level 3 being advantageous.
*
Has previous experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a professional kitchen.
*
Is confident working across all kitchen sections and has a genuine passion for producing high-quality food.
*
Demonstrates excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
*
Is flexible to work shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, in line with business requirements.
In return, you will receive a salary of £33,938 per annum, 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, with any additional hours worked claimed as time off in lieu.
