- 36 Hours Per Week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Chef to join a friendly care home team in Macclesfield on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who enjoys preparing nutritious, home-style meals and wants to work in a rewarding environment supporting around 50 residents within a nursing/care home setting.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing and cooking fresh, balanced meals for approximately 50 residents
* Catering for a range of dietary requirements, including soft diets, allergies, and nutritional needs
* Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
* Ensuring all food safety and HACCP procedures are followed
Requirements:
* Previous chef experience within a care home, nursing home or similar catering environment preferred
* Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Good understanding of dietary and allergy requirements
* Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
* Enhanced DBS preferred (or willingness to undergo one)
