Pay Rates:
Monday to Friday - £13.50 per hour PAYE inclusive of Holiday
Saturday - £17.00 per hour PAYE inclusive of Holiday pay
Sunday - £21.50 per hour PAYE inclusive of Holiday pay
All rates are depending on skills and experience.
Working Days and Hours: Monday to Sunday 06:00 to 18:00 on a rota basis (37.5 hours per week) Must be willing to work occasional weekends.

Summary
Responsible for their own food preparation section and controlling cooking and service operation and providing assistance to the other chefs as part of daily activities to help remodelling menus. Required to undertake responsibilities for all aspects of food preparation and service, providing catering services to patients, staff and visitors restaurants including hosting hospitality events of already established highest standards.
Education and Qualifications
* 3 GCSE or equivalent (Essential)
* NVQ level 2 or equivalent in catering ((Essential)
* NVQ or equivalent in nutrition (Desirable)
* Basic qualification in food hygiene (CIEH Level 2) (Desirable)
* Previous experience in hospital trust environment (Desirable)
Experience and Skills
* Culinary experience either from a similar health care setting (minimum of 3 years as chef) or having similar background from a large hotel/restaurant or conference centre at Chef-de-partie level for minimum 3 years, serving minimum 250 covers.
* Experience working with large team.
* Basic Moving and Handling skills of heavy objects.
* Basic management skills, timesheets and rota.
* Ability to follow instructions and use initiative within sphere of responsibility.
