Our client is currently seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join their team on a temporary basis. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a creative flair, and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality dishes. As a Chef, you will play a key role in menu development, kitchen management, and ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation are upheld.

Responsibilities:

Oversee all aspects of food preparation, including cooking, plating, and presentation
Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and scheduling staff
Train and mentor kitchen staff to maintain high standards of quality and consistency
Monitor food costs and work towards achieving budgetary goals
Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques and ingredients into our culinary offerings
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environmentQualifications:

Proven experience working as a Chef in a high-volume restaurant or culinary establishment
Culinary degree or equivalent certification preferred
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
Excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
