Description:

Chef - Golf Club

Pay: From £15.00 per hour

Hours: Minimum 16 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours

Location: Golf Club

Are you an experienced Chef who enjoys variety, a busy kitchen and preparing great food for all kinds of occasions?

We're recruiting for a Chef to join a welcoming golf club, supporting an extremely busy Head Chef with the day-to-day workload.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has worked across different hospitality settings and enjoys preparing everything from everyday meals to buffets, special events and three-course dining.
We're not necessarily looking for a Sous Chef or someone wanting to manage a kitchen. We're looking for a capable, hands-on Chef who can get stuck in, work alongside the Head Chef and help keep things running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

Supporting the Head Chef with daily food preparation, cooking and kitchen duties.
Preparing a varied range of dishes, including lunches, main meals and desserts.
Catering for functions and special occasions, including weddings, christenings and other events.
Preparing buffets and three-course meals to a high standard.
Assisting with food preparation ahead of busy service periods.
Maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen standards.
Working as part of a team to ensure food is prepared and served efficiently. What we're looking for

Previous experience working as a Chef within hospitality, ideally across a variety of food styles and menus.
Confidence preparing fresh food, buffets, desserts and meals for functions and events.
Someone who is organised, reliable and comfortable working in a busy kitchen.
A flexible, hands-on approach and willingness to support wherever needed.
Good knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling.
Someone who enjoys cooking and takes pride in the food they produce. Hours and pay

From £15.00 per hour, happy to negotiate depending on experience.
Minimum 16 hours per week, with additional hours potentially available.
Working hours and shifts to be discussed with the Head Chef.
Food service begins at 11am, so flexibility around service times and events is essential.
Flexibility to work around functions, weddings and other bookings will be required. Interested?
If you're an experienced Chef looking for a flexible role with plenty of variety, we'd love to hear from you!
