Description:

We are currently recruiting ad-hoc Chef's for our clients in Aberdeen.

This will be for temporary contracts - to cover holidays, sickness and provide cover for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and cooking of various dishes according to recipes and standards.
Handle and prepare ingredients ensuring the highest quality and freshness.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including equipment and workstations.
Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety.
Support senior chefs in daily kitchen tasks, including but not limited to, chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
Uphold standards of food presentation and garnishing.
Contribute creative ideas to menu development and special event planning.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulations.Requirements:

Proven experience as a kitchen assistant, commis chef, or relevant role is required.
Basic understanding of culinary techniques and cooking methods.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for food.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
