Description:

Chartered Valuation Surveyor (MRICS)
* Location: Home-based within East Anglia, Essex, Herts, Beds, Bucks or North London (Operating within a 25–40 mile radius of your home)
* Base Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (Dependent on location and experience)
* On-Target Earnings: £68,000 – £80,000+ (Highly realistic based on current team averages)
* Key Package Details: £5,000 Car Allowance + mileage, private health & dental, RICS fees paid, and 33 days total leave (inc. bank holidays, birthday, and 4 well-being days)
The Opportunity - In my 25 years of Surveying Recruitment, I rarely see a commission structure this genuinely transparent. If you are an MRICS qualified Surveyor and Registered Valuer who loves the autonomy of home-based working but hates the moving goalposts of corporate KPIs, this deserves your attention.
We are partnering with a highly respected, independent, multi-disciplinary practice that has been a staple of the property industry for well over a century. They are expanding their regional coverage and seeking a self-motivated professional to deliver high-quality residential and commercial valuation work closer to home.
A Commission Structure Built on Fairness - Let’s cut straight to what matters. Most firms tie your bonus to complex, lagged, or capped thresholds. This business does the opposite:
* 10% personal net billing paid monthly.
* Zero minimum thresholds to qualify.
* No caps on your earnings.
* No delays: As soon as your monthly billing is generated, the bonus is paid right alongside your base salary.
The Role - This isn't a monotonous, single-stream volume role. You will protect and utilise the full breadth of your technical expertise by undertaking a diverse mix of private and panel instructions, including:
* RICS Home Surveys (Levels 2 and 3)
* Red Book, Help to Buy, Probate, and Matrimonial Valuations
* Bespoke Building Surveys and specialist lender/housing association work
You will be equipped with industry-leading software (including eTech, Quest, GoReport, and Valos) to ensure your time on-site and at your desk is as efficient as possible.
The Remote Balance: Autonomy Without Isolation - Working from home brings immense flexibility, but it can sometimes feel isolating. This firm has solved that. While you will operate independently under your own initiative, you are backed by a centralised Operations Hub that manages your diary and handles administrative support. Furthermore, you will be part of a structured regional team, staying connected through regular video catch-ups and local breakfast meetings. You get the freedom of the road, backed by the infrastructure of a 100-strong professional workforce.
What You Need to Bring
* Qualifications: You must be an MRICS Chartered Surveyor and a RICS Registered Valuer.
* Experience: Ideally a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience (PQE) to meet lender panel requirements.
* Local Knowledge: A strong understanding of your local market (within a 40-mile radius of your home base).
* Compliance: A clean driving license and the willingness to undergo standard lender screening (including a credit check).
