Chartered Senior Quantity Surveyor

Description:

Qualification required: MRICS (Chartered Quantity Surveyor) or equivalent
Contract knowledge: NEC and/or JCT
Location: South Coast, UK (Hybrid)

We're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery across a varied portfolio - no single-sector repetition, real variety of live projects. Sectors including Education, Healthcare, Defence and much more available within the Buildings team.

Key responsibilities:

Leading commercial delivery on projects - owning cost, quality and programme
Preparing cost plans, budgets, forecasts and contract administration
Acting as commercial advisor and Employer's Agent, building strong client relationships
Mentoring junior Quantity Surveyors and supporting team development
Contributing to bids, proposals and business development

Essential requirements:

MRICS (Chartered Quantity Surveyor) or equivalent qualification
Proven Quantity Surveying / Cost Management experience in property and development
Strong NEC and/or JCT contract knowledge
Employer's Agent experience desirable
Strong client and stakeholder management skills
