Exciting new opportunity for an experienced Change Manager to join the Barchester family. Barchester are on exciting journey of digital transformation, where we are heavily investing in multiple new systems across our current portfolio of 240 care homes and hospitals across the UK.

The successful Change Manager will be supporting the CRM project team in the roll out of a new CRM system across all Barchester homes and hospitals across the UK. The Change Manager will focus on the people side of change, including identifying the impact on people, getting them ready for change, handling any resistance to change and ensuring the change is sustained and handed over to business-as-usual successfully.

Hybrid role, with regular meetings held at our head office in Finsbury Square, London as well as frequent travel to care homes across all regions across the UK.

Duties and responsibilities:

Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities.

Leverage the Barchester change management methodology, process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by the project or initiative.

Support internal communication, working with the dedicated Change Communications Lead within the internal communication team.

Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness, and identify key stakeholders.

Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs

Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics.

Identify and manage anticipated and persistent resistance.

Consult and coach project teams.

Create actionable deliverables for the core change management plans: Sponsor Plan, People Manager Plan, Communications Plan, and Training Plan.

Create actionable deliverables for any required "Extend" plans, such as the Resistance Management Plan.

Support organisational design and definition of roles and responsibilities

Integrate change management activities into the project plan.

Evaluate and ensure user readiness.

Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.

Experience and skills required:

At least 5 years change management experience.

Prosci certified or Change Management Institute qualification.

Managed Change for at least one CRM project from cradle to grave, and can articulate what good looks like.

Proven track record of ensuring outcomes and benefits of projects are achieved / realized through robust change management strategies and plans.

Experience of managing stakeholders in an operational setting.

Leading, managing, motivating and coaching teams and managers to be great leaders of change.

Ability to engage at the most senior level to secure buy-in and support for change approach and provide challenge in an effective way.

Ability to work directly with project managers, sponsors, people managers, employees and business leads to land effective change plans.

A solid understanding of how people go through change and the change process.

Experience with and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
