Location: Northampton
Pay Rate: £100-£110 per day

About the Role: Are you a strong, confident individual with a passion for supporting young people? We are seeking dedicated Male Teaching Assistants to join our team at a secondary SEN school in Northampton. This rewarding role involves working with students aged 11-16 who have SEMH (Social Emotional and Mental Health) needs, including those with extremely challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide essential support to secondary students with SEN
Provide general and 1 to 1 support
Manage and support challenging behaviours with confidence and professionalism
Work closely with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment
Assist with personal care as neededPreferred Candidates Will Have:

Experience in a related field (e.g., SEN schools, support work, prisons, youth offenders)
Experience with severely challenging behaviour and SEN including SEMH
The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations
A strong, confident presence
Excellent communication skills, both written and spokenRequirements:

A male would be preferred due to the possibility of personal care responsibilities of students, however, this is not essential.
Full right to work in the UK.
High proficiency in written and spoken English.
