Calibre Search are looking speak with qualified CDM Principal Designers for a pro-active Building Consultancy based just outside of Manchester City Centre.
The practice themselves have been a highly established and market leading firm within the residential market for several years now. Predominantly, they are team of Architects, Building Surveyors and Project Managers who have a general understanding of CDM Regulation however they are now looking for their first Northern based CDM Principal Designer to join them and help establish a CDM Specialist team later down the line.
The clients and pipeline of work is already there, they just need that confident CDM Advisor to come in and really make this role their own which they will fully support you in general as well any further qualifications you wish to achieve with mutiple progression routes for you to take.
Great position for anyone to who likes the idea of being integral and really starting a new department within an already established and successful business.
Duties/Qualifications:
Provide support and advice to multi-disciplinary design teams and clients during the design and pre-construction stages of a wide range of projects to ensure their compliance with their statutory duties under CDM 2015;
NEBOSH Construction
Membership Accreditation of IOSH and ideally the APS
Be involved in defining the standards of the Principal Designer processes and procedures;
Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 for projects from inception to completion;
Undertake CDM reviews, Audits and give CDM advice;
Review contract terms and conditions, scopes of service and responsibility matrices for projects;
