Knole Park Golf Club, located near Sevenoaks, is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team of talented chefs in this picturesque and historic setting. Our food service primarily operates during the day with only occasional evening shifts, allowing our team to focus on creating and presenting delicious meals with great care and attention to detail. This is a contracted position providing 24 hours per week.
Overview of Role:
To assist the Head Chef in the smooth running of the kitchen and food service, maintaining excellence in food production, presentation and hygiene.
We are looking for an enthusiastic all-rounder that can support the existing team both in the kitchen and in service, duties are varied, and no one day is the same Knole Park, attitude and personality are the number one qualification for this role.
* Supporting the Head Chef and delivery of a high-quality fresh food service.
* Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
* To assist with the preparation of food
* Daily set up of the clubhouse dining areas and preparation for service.
* To undertake cleaning duties in the kitchen and service areas.
* To receive and manage stock deliveries.
* Support delivery of Club dinners and events.
About You:
* Have your own transport and live with in a 20-minute drive time of Knole Park Golf Club, Sevenoaks.
* One years’ experience in a commercial catering environment.
* Flexibility to work regular weekends.
* Good work ethic and mature approach to work
