Catering Assistant - Grangemouth, Petrochemical Site (TAR Shutdown)
Contract Duration: 4 weeks, starting on 10th June
Working Hours: 6 days per week, 1 day off, 7.5 hour shifts
Rate of Pay: £12.00ph to £24.00ph with bonus
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to staff and contractors on site.
* Ensure all food is prepared and stored according to health and safety regulations.
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
* Assist with the setup and cleanup of dining areas before and after meal service.
* Monitor food stock levels and report shortages to the supervisor.
* Follow all company policies and procedures, particuarly those related to food safety and health and safety.
* Support the catering team in delivering high-quality service during the shutdown period.
* Perform other related duties as required by the catering manager.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a catering or food service environment.
* Excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards.
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility to work 6 days a week with 1 day off.
* MUST pass a drug and alcohol test prior to employment.
