Catering Assistant - Nights
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Catering Assistant . This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team engaged in food processing operations. The role encompasses a variety of tasks, including cooking pasties and sausage rolls, buttering bread, making sandwiches and baguettes, and packaging the final products

Role and key responsibilities for Catering Assistant
Execute the cooking of pasties and sausage rolls following established recipes and quality standards.
Apply butter to bread according to specified requirements.
Assemble sandwiches and baguettes with precision, ensuring accuracy in ingredient placement.
Efficiently package food items, adhering to hygiene and safety guidelines.
Undertake basic food preparation tasks as required.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, following sanitation protocols.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
Minimum Requirements for Catering Assistant
Previous experience in food production or a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Flexibility to work the specified shift pattern, including weekends.
Pay rate: £12.02
Working Hours:
Sunday to Thursday
8:00 PM - 4:30 AM (with30 minutes unpaid break)
Or
Sunday to Thursday
10:30PM - 07:00AM,(with30 minutes unpaid break)
